Learning How to Pass The Ball

If you want to perform well as a soccer player, then you must learn how to pass the ball. You can't wake up one morning and just have the ability to pass the ball well, you have to go out and practice your passing with someone else. Even though the professional soccer players out there on the field make it look like a piece of cake, it really isn't easy. The key to good passing is playing it simple, this means that you need to play it to the nearest player and things will be easier for your whole team, unless you have a better option.
The thing that is hardest for me to do, is to keep calm, you always need to stay calm, even under pressure so that you can think and play the ball simple. Other things you can do is, when your team has possession, everyone should spread out, so you have more room to work with. Also it is harder for the other team if your team is spread out because 9 out of 11 players have to mark their man, which leaves more room to get down the middle and score. The 2 players that I am talking about, are the keeper and the sweeper, the sweeper usually stays in the back, and plays deeper than everyone else, just in case some one gets passed the defense, he will step in and win the tackle.
